Chapter 9 The Internet and the World Wide Web

     I was familiar with some of the information in this chapter.  I guess I was mostly familiar with the process of using the internet in general.  However, I really didn't understand the whys and hows behind the process.
     I am in awe when I think about the potential of the Web in connecting learners and students from all over the world.  The ability and know how to do this effectively seem as though it may be an immense undertaking.  I think the rubric on page 251 will be an important resource to use while evaluating possible web sites.
